Interview With First Aid Kit
A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to interview indie Swedish sister talents First Aid Kit. These girls are a decade younger than me and yet so mature and talented! It was amazing to hear them perform at Rockwood Music Hall and the Delancey for CMJ and even better to meet them in person. Here's my interview for you to enjoy:

Congratulations Lucy!!!
Mouth Watering
Just yesterday my piece was published on the top 5 fried chicken joints in the NYC and surrounding boroughs. I'll admit I could easily make it a top 10 list since I eat more fried food than I am proud to admit. Read on and check one (or all) of these out; you won't regret it.

Sweet Tooth
I also had a segment published on the top 5 desserts of NYC back in April. Although this was months ago, my opinion has not changed. If I could add a sixth it may be the cannolis at Venieros Pastry Shop:)

Interview With Josiah Leming
In August I also met former "American Idol" contestant Josiah Leming at Rockwood Music Hall. Not only is this kid talented, but he is entertaining as hell live. He has a lot to say and the way he says it is very unique. I went to his show rather unfamiliar with his music, and left thinking I would gladly attend another show. In person he is confident, funny, and seemingly complex. Check out my interview:

Interview With Jehangir Mehta
I also recently had the chance to meet with Chef Jehangir Mehta who just opened his second restaurant Mehtaphor this month. This guy has a lot going on right now, and a lot of aspirations for his future - so talented! Please check out our interview below:

Interview With Lucy Schwartz
Over the summer I also had the chance to meet and interview the effervescent young Lucy at Rockwood Music Hall on the Lower East Side. After hearing her perform I was truly chanted and after speaking with her backstage I was even more so. Please see the interview below and stay tuned for the review of her new album "Life In Letters" which was released only days ago!

Free Bar Snacks!
Recently I had a segment posted on my favorite site www.shortandsweetnyc.com about the top 5 free bar snacks that the city has to offer. It's no secret that I like free things, but a happy hour with a free meal means more money for another drink;)

While You Were Out
As you can see, I have not posted in nearly a year (crazy how fast a year in this city can fly). I have been keeping up with writing for other publications, but slacking with my own blog. Moving forward it is my goal to do both! I know there is some catching up to do so in the weeks to come I will update you with things missed and continue to add new experiences as well.
One of my favorite assignments recently was my interview with Colbie Caillat. I had the opportunity to meet her after her performance at the House of Blues in the Showboat in Atlantic City this summer and this girl is gorgeous and sweet in person, just as you'd expect! Please check out my interview:
